About Rodney's Tutoring
- Rodney's Tutoring Services was founded in 2012.
- I began tutoring professionally in September of 1984. Fresh out of High School, I began tutoring high school Math as a means of making spare money to help with college expenses.
- Then, after completing my Degree (B. Sc, Mathematics), I was hired in February of 1990 by a local professional tutoring company, tutoring High School, community college, and University students in Math and Statistics courses.
- In the Fall of 1993, I began working on my Master's Degree, but found that I was already making pretty decent earnings with tutoring, and the demands on my time found me divided between tutoring and studying. So, about half-way through the Master's program, I made the decision to abandon my grad studies in order to concentrate on helping students full-time.
- I continued working with the other company until the summer of 2012, at which time, I decided to part ways. I then began my own endeavour in the Fall of 2012 from my 2 bedroom basement apartment in Kilbride. Since then, I've had a couple of address changes. However, I have maintained private tutoring from an office space within my home.
- I have been tutoring professionally for over 30 years. Tutoring isn't just a sideline for me, it has been my career for over 30 years!!
